Storytelling

Storytelling has become one of the threads connecting my work across image, words and creative direction. I am drawn to the way a story can give form to an idea, shift perspective and create an emotional world around it.

I wrote and illustrated my first published story, Firefly, which grew out of the stories I began creating and sharing with my daughter — a way of exploring identity, courage and belonging through imagination.

I am currently developing Glass Note, an original narrative conceived for ballet, bringing story into dialogue with music and movement. Working with a composer as the project evolves has opened a new dimension of storytelling for me: one in which narrative can be felt as much as it is told.
